@ryan waterstockgate is a scandal in which a soup company was watering down their stock to increase profit
@ryan it implies that there's a scandal and a music festival for the other elements, too. Maybe Firegate is the scandal around the Fyre Festival. Firestock is what it should've been called. I'll think about what Airstock and Airgate might be.
based on their use of the popular suffixes, i can only assume:
* "watergate" is a scandal about the popular liquid
* "woodstock" is a music festival for arborists
The library is the only place that maintains a comprehensive book collection, the only indoor space where you're free to just sit and be, and the only place you can still find PCs using the Windows 7 operating system. They're an invaluable public service.
There are lots of great things to see in the library, such as the perspex covid screens they still have up and also all the old people crouching down to bellow through the hole meant for books.
@sexybenfranklin @ryan wouldn't that have been NebuChadnezzar
sweet sparkling jesus on a tinsel tree topper, the dji app for tello is so bad:
* there are a ton of suspicious apps claiming to for this drone in the play store
* the official app in the store is abandoned
* the website tells you to sideload an apk that
* gets flagged by play protect for overly broad permissions which
* doesn't work on my pixel 6 anyway
i guess later today i'm digging in the attic for an old phone that this spyware will actually run on

my kid is getting the second shot tomorrow, and then once that's baked im just... going back to the office?
i, an enormous fool, have secretly felt this would all just blow over after a year, and i wouldn't be out in the apocalypse getting breathed on by 400 of my closest friends in a regular ass cafeteria a few times a week.
ive been so focused on getting the kids risk down below mine that i haven't considered the rest. and can i say: the rest seems bad!
